When you become a Lion you become a member of a Club that has all the benefits of being 'local' but you also become part of the international family of Lions Clubs!

Our Club welcomes new members. Membership is not automatic - most people first come along as our guest joining in with a service project or a dinner. We have a couple simple requirements:

• you agree with Lions' Purposes and Ethics, and with our Club's Code of Conduct (on the 'About Us ' page) - these help ensure a great environment for us all.
• you agree to have a Working With Children Check (free), and also a nationally accredited volunteer police check (the club reimburses the small cost of this) - these provide a level of assurance for the community .
• modest fees are payable for membership - currently a $35 joining fee (you receive a shirt and cap), and $80 for an annual membership fee.  These fees cover our administration costs, and ensure that 100% of funds raised as Lions from the community are used to support the community.
• you are able to give the community the gift of your time - what you are able to give, as we all have competing calls on our time that we need to juggle!  Work and family always come first.
