we serve... service to the community... learning new skills... building lasting friendships...
About Us
Torquay is a coastal resort town situated at the start of the Great Ocean Road, about 100km south-west of Melbourne and 22km south of Geelong. It's a growing community - with new estates around Torquay and to our north. The Lions Club of Torquay was granted its charter on 13th September 1969. We currently have 29 members - men and women from diverse backgrounds. We are a welcoming Club committed to the Lions motto of 'We Serve'. We have fun doing what we do best; and enjoy the company and connections that come from being a local club. Since its formation, the Club has been involved in many varied community projects and you will find our Lions emblem in many places around town! We get involved directly helping those who need a hand, and also raise substantial sums of money to support worthy causes within the community - locally, nationally and overseas. We would love to welcome you to our Lions family if you have some spare time, enjoy working with others and are interested in building your community to be a better place.

The Lions Club of Torquay acknowledges the Wadawurrung community as the traditional owners of the land on which we meet. We pay our respect to their elders past and present.
